Description

Project Description
The City of Coquitlam (“City”) requests proposals from qualified, experienced companies to provide the Site Servicing Works associated with Construction of Washroom Building at Town Centre Park – Evergreen Cultural Centre located at 1299 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, BC. The Work included in this request comprises the general construction of a new approximate 29 square meters (312 square feet) one-storey washroom building that will be constructed of pre-cast concrete walls and a nail laminated timber (NLT) roof; the scope includes tying into existing servicing connections at the nearby Evergreen Cultural Centre (ECC) at Town Centre Park, Coquitlam, BC.

The washroom will be built adjacent to the ECC on the east wall all in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications and all duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents and in compliance with all Codes, Rules and Regulations of the Authorities having jurisdiction (Refer to Section 3 - Summary of Work)

The work site is located on the South West corner of the Town Centre Park on the East side of the existing Evergreen Cultural Centre Building.

NON-MANDATORY SITE VISIT

Limit of 2 (two) representatives per prospective Proponent. Maximum number of in-person per site meeting is 6 people.

Due to COVID-19, the City requests that Proponents email the City to register for the site visit. Based on registration numbers, the City will schedule and communicate the time slots for the site visits September 22, 2020 to ensure proper social distancing and the safety of all in attendance. The City of Coquitlam will adhere to proper provincial Covid-19 measures and ensure physical distancing and minimal sized gatherings are in place.

**Proponents are asked to wear a face mask or covering to adhere to provincial COVID19 measures while inside the Evergreen Cultural Centre
** Proponents are to confirm attendance by 5:00 pm on Friday September 18, 2020 via email to: bid@coquitlam.ca.
