AMENDMENT 002

The purpose of this amendment is also to publish questions and answers (1 to 8) with regards to this request for proposal.

The purpose is also to amend certain criteria in Annex A Requirement and Annex C Mandatory Technical Criteria based on the answers provided.

The purpose of this amendment is to postpone the bid closing date until October 14th 2020, 2:00 PM (EDT).

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority.

Suppliers ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT BIDS ELECTRONICALLY USING THE CANADA POST EPOST CONNECT APPLICATION for the subject bid solicitation.

This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED for the subject bid solicitation.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), for the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), is issuing this request for proposal (RFP) for the procurement of a high power laser tunable over a wide optical wavelength band operating with an "Optical Parametric Oscillator" (OPO). The requirement also includes on-site training.

All the technical specifications of the requirement are detailed in the solicitation documents below.
