Description

This project includes all labour, plant and materials for new street lighting along a portion of Northridge Parkway in Charlottetown, PEI, and includes the removal and disposal of select existing luminaires. The work activities required includes but not limited to:
.1 Disconnection, removal, and replacement of the two (2) existing street lights which are located along the east side of Northridge Parkway.
.2 New light standards are to be hexagonal decorative LED c/w pole and GFCI receptacle and decorative pole base.
.3 All surveying and underground service locates.
.4 A new electrical service to be coordinated with the Utility and installed along with new distribution equipment and underground branch circuit wiring to new light standards.
.5 Some light standards are currently fit-up with police cameras (E-Watch) and associated wireless communications equipment. All existing equipment associated with the police camera system are to be maintained in-situ.
.6 Installation of five (5) new light standards c/w new concrete bases along the east and west side of Northridge Parkway between St. Peters Road and Andrews Crescent.
.7 All site controls, traffic control, excavation, site remediation, etc. to be provided as part of this scope of work, including but not limited to removal and reinstatement of sidewalks, curbs, driveways, mailboxes, roadway signs, etc.
.8 Testing and commissioning for full and complete operation of ALL systems supplied on this project.

All in accordance with the requirements of the Specifications and Drawings listed on the Index of Specifications and Drawings.

The work of the Project is subject to various permitting and approval from Authorities Having Jurisdiction including but not limited to: .1 Approval from the City of Charlottetown.
