Description

Invitation
The Capital Regional District (CRD) invites detailed proposals from Supply Contractors (the "Proponents") in strict accordance with these Proposal Documents (CRD, RFP No. 2020-611). The proposals will be evaluated for the selection of a Supply Contractor with the intent to enter into a contract (the "Contract") to provide the services described in Appendix A - Scope of Services.
The Capital Regional District (CRD), hereinafter referred to as the "CRD", invites proposals for:
· The assured annual continuous supply, delivery and offloading of 38% trade ferric chloride used as a coagulant as well as odour control (hydrogen sulfide removal) in wastewater treatment.
· The assured annual continuous supply, delivery and offloading of 12% sodium hypochlorite for use as a disinfectant of plant service water (C2B).

Delivery location will be McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, 337 Victoria View Road, Victoria.
The quantities are estimated annual amounts, initially for a two (2) year period with the option to extend the contract for three (3) additional one (1) year periods upon mutual agreement. The CRD reserves the right to award in whole or in part.

A Contract will not necessarily result from this Request for Proposal ("RFP").
