NE-005-0139 - Northeast Rural Career and Employment and Job Placement Services for Persons with Disabilties

This Project will support Albertans with disabilities and multiple barriers residing in the Northeast Rural Region through successful transitions from school to work/work to school, unemployment to employment, career changes, and occupational skill development required by a changing economy.

CSS-NE Rural, has developed one RFP for the development of one or two contracts. One contract would serve the communities of Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, St. Paul, Vegreville and surrounding areas; and a second contract would serve Athabasca, Westlock, Barrhead/Gunn and surrounding areas. The total contract price for Cold Lake, Bonnyville, Lac La Biche, St. Paul and Vegreville must not exceed $865,000.00; the total contract price for Athabasca, Westlock, Barrhead/Gunn must not exceed $750,000.00. The potential exists for one proponent to be awarded both contracts. In this case, one combined contract would be awarded.

Payment of contracted services will be on a Fixed Fee for Service basis.

The anticipated duration of Services is from January 1, 2021 to September 30, 2023 which includes a twenty-four (24) month period of active services, three (3) month service management, and six (6) month follow up for a total of thirty-three (33) months. The Province may extend the Contract, under the same terms and conditions, for an additional term of up to twelve (12) months to perform the Services.

Proposals are to be prepared in accordance with the Request for Proposals. The Request for Proposals must be obtained from the APC Tendering System.

The proposal submission deadline is November 5, 2020 at 14:00:59 Alberta Time. Proposals must be submitted as described in the RFP.

Questions or concerns must be communicated in writing to the Contracting Manager at least ten (10) Business Days (October 23, 2020 by 14:00:59 Alberta Time), prior to the RFP’s Closing Date and Time. Questions received after this time will not be accepted.
