Description

Marine Transportation Services - Water Taxi, Landing Crafts and Barging Services throughout the province of British Columbia on an as and when required basis 24/7/365 basis. The vessels and crew shall meet all Transport Canada Regulations and specifications. Proponents may submit Proposals to any or all of the BC Hydro locations identified or only one service type or multiple service types in this RFP. Currently, BC Hydro is utilizing marine transportation services in the following areas: Sechelt and Sunshine Coast and surrounding area, Terrace/Prince Rupert, North Vancouver and surrounding area, Gulf Islands, Tofino, Port Alberni, Nanaimo, Sandspit and Queen Charlotte City, Bella Bella, Campbell and Denny.

The Contract is expected to be for an initial term of (three) years, which may be extended for up to (four) year(s) through one or more contract extensions, for a potential total term of (seven) years.

This procurement may involve negotiation.

This opportunity is subject to Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
