Description

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) seeks to have the flood hazard of the Eastman Drain watershed assessed and mapped in accordance with the current Federal Flood Mapping Guidelines and provincial requirements for regulatory flood mapping.

The Eastman Drain is a municipal drain in eastern Ontario, near the City of Cornwall. This watercourse has a watershed area of 9.7 km2, and its main channel is 7 km long. The majority of the watershed is located in the Township of South Stormont, but the Eastman Drain ultimately discharges into the South Branch of the Raisin River within the limits of the City of Cornwall. The Eastman Drain is ungauged and there is no water level or flow record.
