The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK) is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal from qualified project managers to provide project management services for Operational Fuel Treatments at Harrop Procter, Bonnington, Lardeau, Argenta, Burton and Boswell within the RDCK.
The RDCK conducts operational fuel treatment projects throughout the District. The projects in Harrop Procter, Bonnington, Lardeau, Argenta, Burton and Boswell have been funded through the Strategic Wildfire Prevention Initiative (SWPI), Columbia Basin Trust and Local Government.
The objective of this project is to support the RDCK by managing operational fuel treatment activities as prescribed in the forest fire fuel treatment prescription developed for the RDCK. The successful proponent (project manager) will provide work as described in: G. Project Work Plan.
