The Regional District of Central Kootenay (RDCK)’s East Resource Recovery Sub-region, covering Electoral Area A-Wynndel/E. Shore/Kootenay Lake, Electoral Area B, Electoral Area C and the Town of Creston, is inviting Tenders to haul waste bins (supplied by the RDCK) from the Crawford Bay and Boswell Transfer Stations to the Creston Landfill. (See Appendix A for 2016 bin haul data.)
The successful Tenderer will be required to ensure that all waste bins being hauled from the refuse transfer stations shall be adequately covered to ensure that no refuse falls out or is blown out of the waste bin during transport. The Contract shall commence on October 1, 2017 and shall be for period of three (3) years, ending September 30, 2020.
The Contract is for the supply of all supervision, labour, materials, tools, plant, equipment and any incidentals necessary to provide the waste transfer service.
