As a result of this new strategic priority, Sault Area Hospital is looking to develop a multi-year plan to elevate our performance. This plan will include specific milestones that are reflective of feedback and input from a broad set of stakeholders, as well as evidence informed best practice.
This plan will also include various measurements and targets such as an increase in overall employee, physician and volunteer engagement.

This plan will also include various measurements and targets such as an increase in overall employee, physician and volunteer engagement. This may include the ability to measure improvement against specific engagement survey questions related to being healthy, well and safe at work such as:

Balance of family/personal life with work
Senior management committed to improving workplace safety
Organization promotes staff and physician health/wellness
No verbal abuse from patients/clients/public (part of 3 lowest scoring items in health & safety theme)
Action taken if staff bullied/abused by other staff (part of 3 lowest scoring items in health & safety theme)
