Description

Parks Canada Agency (PCA) is developing a field station (PAD Field Station) in Wood Buffalo National Park, near Fort Chipewyan, AB. This Invitation to Bid (ITB) package is for the construction of cabins and washrooms. Materials that are specifically listed in the ITB will be provided to the successful Bidder at no cost to the Bidder. NOTE: all Bidders are required to complete a detailed material takeoff and include any and all materials not specifically listed or any shortfall of listed materials to complete the Work. CM/PCA will not supply any materials (by type or quantity) beyond what is specfically listed in the ITB. This Work is scheduled for summer 2023/24 and Bidders need to note that the site is water access only during summer and it is approximately 10 km by water from the Fort Chipewyan harbour to the PAD Field Station site. Please refer to: documents posted to Merx for this ITB for specifics. There will not be a site visit for this ITB. Bidders can locate the site on Google maps using the following coordinates: 58.657927032736545, -111.30192833203775.

Bidders must demonstrate they have the required experience and resources to complete the Work by the completion date listed in the ITB. CM/PCA reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Note that this ITB may be subject to quantity and associated price adjustments at CM/PCA's discretion.
