INTRODUCTION
We have an immediate opportunity to engage a social media partner in 2022. SkillPlan is a nationally recognized leader in workforce development programming. We seek a vendor partner to help elevate SkillPlan’s digital presence through development of social media services, including various series, production of assets for online usage and implementation of paid media campaigns throughout 2022. We are issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for potential vendors to prepare a proposal for this work, including cost and deliverables. Timeline to be developed in collaboration with SkillPlan. This RFP includes background on SkillPlan and description of the purpose for social media services.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
SkillPlan’s current social media presence is limited and requires a boost to reflect our organizational growth and to accomplish our marketing objectives.
Primary goals of this project are to: strengthen SkillPlan’s online presence and build brand awareness; promote our products and services for clients, stakeholders and prospects; and promote careers and skills building in the unionized construction trades. Additionally, we require content for SkillPlan to reflect and integrate SkillPlan’s refreshed brand and visual identity, anticipated for release in April 2022.
Primary objectives:
- Enhance SkillPlan’s brand awareness and storytelling through social media.
- Promote SkillPlan’s products and tools with the goal of user conversion to access the tools.
- Raise awareness of unionized construction building trades in Canada as a viable career option, including for underrepresented groups.
Secondary objectives:
- Expand SkillPlan’s existing user base and build a community of new and existing followers.
- Increase SkillPlan’s social media following and engagement.
- Raise awareness of SkillPlan’s expertise and workforce development programming to help prepare workers at all skill levels improve their foundational and transferable skills to better prepare for and obtain jobs and succeed at work.
- Raise awareness of SkillPlan’s online learning tools, products and services to help workers prepare for and succeed in careers in the unionized construction industry.
