Sealed Tenders are invited from Contractors for the construction of the Wastewater Lagoon for the Beaver Lake Cree Nation. Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the Consulting Engineer up to 2:00 p.m., C.S.T., Friday, August 28th, 2020 and will be opened immediately thereafter.
The work includes:
.1 Construction of approx. 2,500 lin.m. of 150 mm HDPE sewage force main;
.2 Construction of a new dry pit style sewage pumping station;
.3 Construction of a new two cell, HDPE lined sewage lagoon, including a 15,000 cu.m. facultative cell, and a 92,000 cu.m. storage cell. Lagoon construction will also include erosion protection, landscaping, transfer structure, valving and piping;
.4 Decommissioning of existing sewage pumping station and lagoon;
.5 Provision of roads for ingress and egress to the location of all work required;
.6 Clean up of site;
.7 Repair of defects in workmanship and / or materials for a period of two years after completion of the work.
General Contractors may obtain a digital copy of the Contract Documents from the Office of the Consulting Engineer. Hardcopies are also available for a deposit of $150.00, which will be refunded provided that the documents are returned in good condition within 10 days of closing of Tenders.
Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Tendered Amount.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
