Description

The redevelopment of 705 Progress (the “Property”) is a City Council and Toronto District School Board endorsed project identified through Council Item 2021.GL26.7 (Recommendation 14), Council item 2025.EX20.2 and TDSB Item 15.4. The objective of the redevelopment is to re-imagine this large commercial site in Scarborough Centre and achieve multiple City-building outcomes, including:

Delivery of a new public podium elementary school;
Creation of a public City of Toronto park;
Delivery of new affordable housing; and
Establishing a permanent community hub for local charities.
