Description

As the Main Construction Manager for the Faro Mine Complex, Parsons Inc., is requesting proposals for the Upgrades to the Intermediate Dam (ID) Spillway Project at the Faro Mine Complex in Faro, Yukon. This Project consists of reconstructing the intermediate dam spillway, including site preparation, clearing and stripping, rough grading, excavation, trenching and backfilling, installation of structural steel channel, sheet piles, installation of geotextile materials, gabions, placement of riprap in spillway. This Project also consists of constructing an access road to the Cross Valley Pond (CVP), replacement of the X5 road crossing and maintenance of roads impacted by the works. Water control measures will also have to be implemented for the installation of culverts.
