Description of Procurement:
This Request for Proposals (RFP) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Service (TPS) to engage prospective and qualified suppliers to submit proposals for the provision of professional services from a consultant team to conduct a comprehensive feasibility study to support the potential establishment of a new Forensic Unit for Toronto Police Services. For more information, refer to section 5 of this RFP. Interested proponents will provide technical and pricing proposals as per sections 1.2 and 7. For information on intention of award, refer to section 2.14.

Delivery Schedule for Goods or Services OR Contract Duration:
The term of this contract for the provision of services shall commence from date of award and last for a period of one (1) year. The TPS reserves the right to extend the contract on a month to month basis, or based on a selection of strategic activities that are determined to be best executed by the successful team.
Piggyback (if applicable):
The TPSB/TPS may, upon request, permit other public bodies and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any part of the contract which may result from this RFP. Proponents are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this proposal to other government agencies including PCPG, if the proponent becomes the successful services provider. If the successful proponent agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a contract with the successful proponent for the purchase of services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the proponent. Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note copies of the proponents submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
