The Vintage Locomotive Society Inc. (VLS) is a Manitoba-based non-profit organization committed to preserving and celebrating Canada’s railway heritage. VLS owns and operates the Prairie Dog Central Railway (PDCR), a heritage tourism railway, and is the sole shareholder of Prairie Rail Solutions Ltd. (PRS), a commercial short-line rail operation. Due to the increasing operational complexity of managing two distinct but interconnected rail entities, VLS is seeking proposals for fractional operations leadership services to provide structured oversight, regulatory compliance, shared services coordination, and strategic execution across both PDCR and PRS.
