Description

Enhancement to Water St West, Holbrook St, and signage in several Laneways will include upgrading gravel shoulder along road, construction of wood boardwalk and decking for rest areas, fabrication and installation of aluminum wayfinding signage and structures such as selfie picture frames and posts for hammocks, and interpretation panels. Fabrication will be required of Heritage District maps and interpretation panels from art files provided. Removal and repurposing of existing railway rails into new railing, fabrication of custom benches and installation of commercial cluster seating in select locations. Planting around rest areas and reinstatement along roadways. Installation of a catch basin pup and drainage outlet. Painting of line along roadside to define pedestrian edge.
