The IESO, through its Save on Energy programs (each, a "Program") offers Ontario residents and businesses multiple ways to manage their electricity use and costs. Through Save on Energy, Program participants can take advantage of resources to make their energy-efficient projects more affordable and, depending on the Program, may be eligible for incentives such as rebates for energy-efficient measure purchases, reimbursements for building retrofit costs, prepaid credit cards, and more (“Incentives”).
To support administrative efficiency, the IESO uses the services of external parties to manage the fulfillment of Incentives. Services include disbursing payments to eligible Program participants (“Payment Fulfillment Services”), and, for some Programs, assessing applications and validating whether a Program participant is eligible for Incentives (“Application Assessment Services”). These services form a part of, and are collectively referred to as, “Incentive Fulfillment Services”.
Through this procurement, the IESO is seeking a service provider to deliver Incentive Fulfillment Serivces as further described in the attacehd RFP. It should be noted that, in accordance with Ontario’s Procurement Restriction Policy, US Businesses (as defined in the RFP) are not eligible to submit a proposal.
