Description

Canada’s federal, provincial, and territorial health care decision makers rely on Canada's Drug Agency (CDA-AMC) to provide them with credible, impartial advice and evidence-based information about the effectiveness of drugs and other health technologies. Our scope includes health technology assessment, the clinical and cost-effectiveness of new drugs, and best practices in drug prescribing and use in Canada.

In accordance with our Contribution Agreement with Health Canada, CDA-AMC will be carrying out an independent evaluation that assesses the Emerging Areas of Focus, which includes the following program areas: 1) System Coordination and Alignment, 2) Data and Analytics, 3) Appropriate Use. The scope of this evaluation has been determined and agreed upon with Health Canada. This project will evaluate the impact of the work completed in the three program areas through a broad lens of partners (outcomes evaluation).
