THRC is committed to advancing modern HR solutions for the trucking and logistics workforce to ensure that Canada’s freight transportation network has the skilled workforce it needs today and into the future. To support this effort, THRC is leading a national multi-year workforce development initiative to develop workforce solutions resources that will strengthen an employer’s ability to provide relevant training offerings, identify skills requirements, recruit, foster workforce mobility etc. The purpose of this work is to develop a competency framework for the Trucking and Logistics industry and define National Occupational Standards (NOS)s for select occupations.
