Project Background
The OEB requires all employees to have laptops. To maintain up-to-date technology and ensure all employees have the necessary tools, the OEB undertakes an annual upgrade of approximately one-third of its laptop inventory. Additionally, new laptops are purchased each year to accommodate the on boarding of new employees and to ensure there are spare laptops available for instances where devices may break or require maintenance.
Purpose and Objectives
The purpose of this tender is to select a vendor capable of providing the Ontario Energy Board with fifty (50) laptops, meeting the specifications outlined in Section 2.3 of this RFT, at the lowest price, with the delivery required by March 23, 2026, or earlier. If a vendor cannot provide the 50 units, the OEB reserves the right to issue multiple awards if necessary to ensure full delivery to its office by the deadline.
Scope of Work and Requirements
Participating Vendors taking part in the Request for Tender (RFT) must be capable of delivering the hardware meeting the specifications outlined herein to the OEB office located at 2300 Yonge Street, 27th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M4P 1E4, no later than 12:00:00 PM EST on March 23, 2026.
Participating Vendors are required to indicate whether they can provide all required hardware and to specify the anticipated delivery timeline for the hardware.
All proposed fifty (50) Laptops must meet the following specifications. One model will be selected.

Vendors offering specifications that exceed the minimum requirements will not receive additional evaluation credit. The price evaluation will be based solely on the compliant configuration.
