Description

Simon Fraser University (“SFU”) is located on British Columbia's west coast, and boasts three distinctive campuses, Burnaby, Vancouver, and Surrey. SFU has matured into one of the world’s leading teaching and research universities with more than 26,000 students, 2,700 faculty and staff, and 200,000 alumni in 145+ countries.

This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation by Simon Fraser University (“SFU”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Surrey Central City Campus Lighting Upgrade, as further described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).

The selected proponent will be requested to enter into negotiations for an agreement with SFU for the provision of the Deliverables based on the term sheet attached as Appendix A to the RFP. It is SFU’s intention to enter into an agreement based on the term sheet attached as Appendix A to the RFP with only one (1) legal entity. The anticipated date for substantial completion of this project is August 28, 2026.

Proponents are advised that the award of any contract under this RFP will be subject to the availability of funds.
