Description

Work under this project consists of removal and replacement of concrete anchor blocks for the breakwater, relocation of log booms for the breakwater, repairs to Float C and approach light tower ladder, modifications to approach light cable and addition of shim plates to pile well frame.

Event Note

The VAA will make available a non-mandatory but strongly recommended site visit for the Tenderer to visit the Place of the Work on Thursday June 12, 2025 – 11:00AM (local time). Please note this is a different day from the pre-tender briefing and tenderers are requested to confirm your intent to attend the site visit by email to Richard Kohler at richard.kohler@tetratech.com, no later than June 11, 2025. Tenderers shall meet at the gravel parking lot on Widgeon Drive off W Saanich Rd.
Tenderer access to the Seaplane Base will only occur during this scheduled site visit.
Please note that all attendees for the site visit are required to provide their own life jackets in order to gain access to the floats.
