TIAPEI is seeking proposals from experienced, qualified, full-service market research firms to conduct this online research in Germany. Qualified companies will have proven expertise in research design methodologies, online survey development and design, online surveying, data collection, data management and data tabulation to design, deliver and implement an online survey.
The qualified company must demonstrate a strong knowledge of the tourism industry in Atlantic Canada and have significant experience working with government or industry on tourism-related research.
Building on existing information from Destination Canada’s Global Traveller Research Program, this study seeks to better understand German travellers’ perception of each of the four Atlantic provinces. More specifically, the study seeks to:
- assess awareness of and familiarity with each Atlantic province
- identify top of mind destination associations/impressions with each Atlantic province
- assess past visitation to Canada, as well as each Atlantic province
- assess general unaided ad recall/ad awareness
- identify barriers/perceived obstacles for travel to each Atlantic province
- assess perceived ease of access to Atlantic Canada and each Atlantic province
- understand how/if travellers differentiate Atlantic Canada from the rest of Canada
- understand motivators for travel to each Atlantic province
Additionally, this study seeks to assess the impact of the current geo-political landscape on perceptions of, and current or planned travel to, Atlantic Canada (i.e. perceptions of Canada’s stability, how much US/Canada relations are of influence, level of welcome, etc.).
Proposals should be submitted to the undersigned no later than 9:00 a.m. (Atlantic Time) on December 1, 2025. The contract for this assignment will be awarded on or about December 10, 2025. The assignment should be completed by March 31, 2026. Proposals should be submitted to:
