Project Background
The Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is the independent economic regulator of Ontario's energy sector and is governed by provincial legislation and regulations. As the independent, economic regulator for the sector, the OEB protects the interests of millions of gas and electricity consumers and provides oversight to the entities which generate, transmit and distribute energy across the province.
 
A Physical Security Threat Risk Assessment (TRA or STRA) is a foundational component to any corporate security program.  It is the critical starting point to evaluate threats and risks to people, assets, and information. From the assessment a company can layer security policies, processes, and physical security infrastructure to address the identified risks with effective security solutions in a systematic and cost-effective manner.
 
A Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) was carried on the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and recommendations were made.
 
It was recommended that the OEB install two (2) cameras, looking at each other on the 24th, 26th & 27th elevator lobbies to monitor suspicious activity. Install internal cameras covering emergency stairwell doors on the 24th, 26th & 27th floors.

Purpose and Scope
All cameras must be delivered and installed on or before March 31, 2023.
