Description

Introduction :
This invitation to tender concerns the replacement, repair, and addition of semi-rigid guardrails on the Alpha and Bravo tracks at Transport Canada’s Motor Vehicle Test Centre (MVTC), located in Blainville, Quebec. PMG Technologies is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Transport Canada’s MVTC.

Services required :
The project consists of carrying out the following work :

The demolition and replacement of all posts, wooden spacer blocks, and hardware of the existing semi-rigid safety guardrails (approximately 3,200 linear metres);
The demolition for replacement or dismantling for reinstallation of the existing double-corrugated steel rail proﬁles of the semi-rigid safety guardrails, based on the assumption that 50% of these components may be reused (approximately 3,200 linear metres);
The installation of semi-rigid safety guardrail end terminals (18 units).
