Description

VIA Rail Canada is requiring the services from an external party, who has a proven expertise and necessary qualifications and certifications, to perform vegetation control services at the Toronto Maintenance Center. The scope of work includes the systematic removal and management of invasive plant species, regular maintenance of green spaces, and the implementation of sustainable practices to prevent future overgrowth. Additionally, the service encompasses vegetation control near track areas to ensure the safety and efficiency of rail operations. The Supplier will be responsible for ensuring that all vegetation control activities comply with environmental regulations and safety standards, minimizing disruption to the maintenance center's operations. This project aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal and operational efficiency of the facility, contributing to a safer working environment for all staff and visitors.
