Spectre Construction & Management Inc. is seeking quotations for the resident room flooring and in-suite bathroom upgrade at Allendale Long Term Care Home (LTCH) located at 185 Ontario St S., Milton, Ontario.
Description of work for this project as per the attached specifications & drawings
Scope includes renovating the resident room, lounge area and dining hall floors and in-suite washrooms in the Trafalgar Wing of the Allendale Long Term Care Home.
Items such as hand sanitizers, paper towel dispensers, soap dispensers, fold down grab bars, and mirrors must be removed and saved for later re-installation.
Complete floor preparation work, such as levelling or grinding, as required to provide a smooth and clean surface for the installation of sheet vinyl flooring as well as proper bonding. All floor preparation work to meet the requirements of the adhesive and flooring manufacturers.
Remove existing carpet flooring and associated baseboard in the Resident Rooms, Lounge areas and Dining Hall, and then dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
Supply and install new Polyflor Expona Flow PUR sheet vinyl flooring and accessories as per the drawings issues with this Bid document. The sheet vinyl flooring colour shall be Honey Oak 9821. The Contractor must provide a sample for approval prior to ordering. The adhesive to be used is MAPEI Ultrabond ECO 360, low VOC or approved equivalent.
