Description

The intent of this bid call is to obtain an offer to perform work to complete Generator
Replacement & Building Upgrades at Anson General Hospital, Iroquois Falls, for a
Stipulated Price contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents. ·

The work included in this project will consist of installation of a pre-purchased emergency
generator and associated equipment, upgrades to an existing garage building to house
the generator. The project will also include a new exhaust stack with concrete foundation,
generator cooling system, oil supply and return, electrical wiring controls and alarms. The
generator supplier is under contract to complete start up and testing of the generator.

Event Note

A non-mandatory site visit is scheduled for Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at
1:30 pm, bidders are to meet in the garage building at the scheduled time.
There will be no other time where bidders will be allowed to visit the site.

Each Tenderer shall carefully examine the site and all services thereon which
affect the proper execution of the work, and obtain for himself a clear and
comprehensive knowledge of the existing conditions .

Bidders are advised that any information received on site from independent site
visits either by observation or by way of verbal communication is considered
nonbinding unless confirmed by way of written addenda.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Offers signed, executed and dated will be received by the Consultant, Anrep
Krieg Desilets Gravelle Ltd, 204-101 Worthington Street East, North Bay,
Ontario P1B 1G5 before 12:00:00 pm noon local time on the 13th day of
November, 2018. The clock within the computer at the reception counter at the
Consultant’s office will be used to determine the bid closing.

Offers submitted after the above time shall be returned to the bidder unopened. .

Appendix ‘A’- Document 00210, shall be included with the Tender Form
Document 00200 at the bid closing time indicated above. If the Appendice
indicated have not been received with the Tender Form, the submission may be
declared informal.

Amendments to the submitted Bid Form and Appendix will be permitted if
received in writing prior to bid closing and if endorsed by the same party or
parties who signed the offer.
