This RFQ is issued for the purpose of obtaining Proposals for one (1) Air-cooled Chiller Unit and Related Components, Assemblies, and Accessories. The System will be provided with a warranty at no cost to TOH that lasts for a minimum of one (1) year beginning on the date that TOH accepts the commissioning and start up of the equipment. Additionally, and subsequent to the warranty period, the System will come with a Maintenance Contract for a period of five (5) years, plus an option of 5 one – year extensions (up to a total extension period of five (5) years) which can be exercised in any combination, at TOH discretion. The Maintenance Contract will begin on the date that the Successful Proponent’s warranty expires.
As timelines are very condensed for the installation of the MRI, TOH wishes to initiate the purchase of the System on behalf of the General Contractor and thereby mitigate against manufacturer delays affecting the overall project timelines and MRI operational start-up. Following execution of the Agreement, TOH intends to issue a Purchase Order for the System to the Successful Proponent. Once the procurement of the General Contractor for the MRI initiative is finalized, the Purchase Order for the System will be novated to the General Contractor.
