The Town of Placentia (“the Town” is inviting tenders for supply of one 2024 or 2025 one (1) ton pickup cab and chassis only. We are interested in pricing for each of a hybrid or a gas powered vehicle. Qualified bidders meeting or exceeding the minimum specifications required in this tender document must provide their quote by courier, regular mail or drop off to the Placentia Town Hall before 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure the quoted equipment meets the specifications herein. If minimum requirements are not met or exceeded, they may be declared non-compliant and be rejected. The bidder shall be held responsible for the design, performance, reliability and satisfactory operational functioning of the unit provided and to provide the Town with an acceptable warranty package for same. The bidder shall maintain parts and servicing facilities with qualified personnel and original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) replacement parts for the equipment specified. The servicing and parts facility must provide complete OEM approved servicing for specified equipment. Quotes shall include free on-board delivery to their dealership and include all taxes, fees, surcharges, and any other related costs. The Town of Placentia shall not accept any additional costs outside of what is included in the price provided by the bidder. The quoted vehicle will be fully assembled, complete and ready for use when picked up by a member of Town of Placentia staff. The Town of Placentia reserves the right to award this Tender in the best interest of the Town; all factors shall be considered in evaluating each tender submission which will include delivery date and cost.
