On behalf of Carefirst Seniors and Community Services Association (the “Owner"), Turner & Townsend as the Owner’s Project Managers would like to invite prospective suppliers (the “Proponents”) to participate in a Request for Supplier Qualifications (“RFSQ”) process. The Owner is seeking responses from firms that can prequalify to provide Construction Management Services for the construction of new Carefirst Campus of Care project (the “Project”).
We also want to inform all proponents this is a repost of RFSQ # 2023-03-24 (the "Initial RFSQ") to allow for a general market condition update and inclusion of additional respondents on the short list for Carefirst Campus of Care CM Services. Proponents who are already on the short list are requested to re-submit an updated CCDC-11 along with a cover letter acknowledging no material changes to any of the rated criteria in the previous submission, to maintain their place on the list.
The new Carefirst Campus of Care building will be located at 9893 Leslie Street, a property owned by Carefirst Senior and Community Services Association. The project involves construction of a new single building, 10-storey high, Campus of Care on this site (Total Site Area: 2,931.50 square meters/ hectares, 0.73 acres). The building will have one level of below grade and 3 levels of above grade parking. The total building GFA is approximately 20,560 square meters (221,306 square feet). The building will have one level of below grade and 3 levels of above grade parking. This new contemporary continuum of care community incorporates the following key program elements;
- 124 bed Long-Term Care Home (LTCH) with support services, such as Kitchen, Laundry etc:
- Medical Centre/ Community Health Hub
- Life Lease housing.
The shortlisted proponents from this RFSQ will be invited to second phase RFP procurement, which is anticipated to run between Mar/ Apr 2024 with main construction to commence in Q3 2024.
