Description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to establish a 1 year contract with Olink for proteomic analysis. Details are included in ACAN document.

Olink will provide blood sample analysis and validation services required for research involving the study of Fibrostenotic Chrohn’s disease.
To the research team’s knowledge, Olink’s Explore HT platform is a unique highly sensitive platform that covers a broad dynamic range that spans over 10 logs (from fg/mL to mg/ML). This will allow the quantification of proteins found in the blood samples and potential validation. Olink does not use proprietary technology or reagents, they utilize antibodies. This is a mandatory requirement for the research lab as this will allow the lab the ability to take the protein profile, following validation, to develop and recreate for future studies. Resulting in the ability for the lab to take the discovered protein panel to clinical translation and to utilize blood test for ongoing clinic use.
