DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting a RFSQ for Hosting Services.
The University of Toronto (the “University”) follows a distributed model in managing IT infrastructure across its various units and divisions (“Clients”) in three (3) campuses (St. George Campus, Mississauga and Scarborough). These sites are integral to the communications strategy of the respective units, including recruitment of new students, faculty and staff, promoting the accomplishments of Faculty members in research and innovation, enabling the business communications associated with administering the educational and awareness programs of the units and engaging with students, faculty members, staff and alumni.
The University is seeking to establish a network of qualified suppliers to provide the management of infrastructure required to host the wide variety of sites or applications. The qualified Proponents will provide the necessary scalability to meet the broad and varying traffic needs of the University with a minimum amount of downtime. Proponents should have dedicated hardware and software security measures; industry-standard backup, redundancy, disaster recovery, and network availability processes; automation as appropriate. Hosting solutions should meet Canadian and Ontario accessibility, security, privacy and related requirements.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Tuesday, September 30, 2022 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONTRACT DETAILS
Three (3) years term
PREQUALIFICATION
The University intends to select up to four (4) qualified suppliers for the purposes of establishing a qualified supplier list (“QSL”). The period of validity of the QSL is three (3) years.
