DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The Laboratory for Extreme Mechanics & Additive Manufacturing (LEMAM), at the University of Toronto, under Professor Yu Zou, focuses on studying the high-strain-rate deformation response of materials. This research field requires an Ultra-High-Speed video camera system (the “System”) to monitor high-strain-rate deformation tests using the Hopkinson pressure bar apparatus for various materials. The camera system should be capable of accurately capturing and analyzing the dimensional changes in samples that occur during high-strain-rate deformation processes.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
