Description

This Negotiable Request for Proposals (“NRFP”) is an invitation by The Human Biology Program in the Faculty of Arts and Science on behalf of The Governing Council of the University of Toronto (the “University”) to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the provision of nine (9) Biological Safety Cabinets, as further described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”).

The HBP operates undergraduate teaching laboratories, and intends to introduce new laboratory exercises for the undergraduate students in modern genetic engineering technologies, including the CRISPR (gene editing) technique. These new laboratory exercises will require that the students use Biological Safety Cabinets (the “BSCs”; Class II) for cell culturing.
