Waterloo EDC is seeking an agency to develop a strategic piece of content for targeting key audiences for foreign direct investment attraction: site selectors and business decision makers in Boston, New York and Silicon Valley. This content would follow the “bid book” format, highlighting Waterloo’s unique tech-related value proposition and assets in a manner that is clear, concise and memorable. A “bid book” presents a community’s value proposition tailored for an individual client. Many of the communities seeking to win Amazon HQ2 competition used this format, including Toronto Region, which included data from Waterloo. This project will follow the “bid book” format, but will not focus purely on one potential client. Instead, it will focus on a type of client – tech-focused companies in Boston, New York City and California that are looking to grow and expand. The objective of this content is to present the strongest possible case for locating or relocating a company, or a key new investment mandate, in Waterloo.
Proposals must be received by 5:00 PM EST on the closing date of Thursday, September 12, 2019. Submissions must be delivered electronically in Adobe PDF Format to:
