2017-02 - Echocardiogram (with software package option) and Ultrasound Machines

This document is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the purchase, installation, warranty, support and maintenance of one echocardiogram (ECHO) machine, one ultrasound (US) machine with an option valid for 3 years to purchase 2 additional machines at the same price for the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH). The proposal should also include as an option any post processing software system that might be required to interpret images acquired on the ECHO machine. The right to include or reject this ECHO module will be at the sole and absolute discretion of WDMH without liability, cost or penalty. The ECHO unit must be able to perform standard echocardiogram, stress echocardiogram and should be able to perform carotid Doppler’s while the US unit must be able to perform standard abdomen, pelvic, transvaginal and transrectal exam as well as breast and obstetric cases. These requirements must be possible on patients of all ages and body types in addition to meeting the other requirements detailed in this RFP.
