Notice of Bellwoods Patient Lift Devices and Related Services
Request for Proposals Posted on March 17, 2022
Bellwoods Centres of Community Living (Bellwoods) has issued a non-binding Request for Proposals (RFP).
Established over sixty (60) years ago, Bellwoods is a charitable, not-for-profit organization providing community-based, client directed support services, client and family centered care, Independent Living education programs, and accessible, affordable housing. Bellwoods focuses on meeting community needs through partnership development to support health system priorities. More information about Bellwoods is available at https://bellwoodscentres.org/.
The objective of the RFP is to award an agreement to one (1) qualified supplier for the provision of Patient Lift Devices and Related Services for Bellwoods’ Yonge Street location, as well as potentially other Devices and Services, for other Bellwoods locations throughout the term of the resulting agreement.
The term of the resulting agreement is intended to be for three (3) years, with an option to extend the term of the agreement, on the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) additional years.

Proposals will be evaluated in seven (7) stages, as detailed in Part 3 of the RFP.
Bellwoods makes no guarantee of the value or volume of work to be assigned from the award of any agreements resulting from this procurement.

In the event of a conflict or inconsistency between this notice and the RFP, the RFP shall prevail.
This RFP is open to all organizations and is ONLY available on Ontario Tenders Portal Jaggar (OTP).
Proponents are advised that there will not be a public opening of this RFP. Bellwoods will open proposals at a time subsequent to the closing date indicated in the RFP timetable above, and in the RFP itself.
Bellwoods will only post this notice on MERX™ and Biddingo.
This procurement is subject to Chapter Five – Government Procurement of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and Chapter Nineteen of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).
