This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) issued by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (“BAO”) is an invitation to you (the “Respondent”) to submit a non-binding quote of services for supporting the Senior Manager, Information Technology in the development and implementations of a new business process optimized CRM. This invitation is not an offer, and any quote received will not constitute an acceptance or result in a binding contract. The successful respondent will be invited to enter into a contract at a later date. The required services and support in developing the CRM are described in the business requirements section of the RFP. The successful Respondent, selected pursuant to this RFP process, will be informed in writing. Respondents not selected will also be informed in writing.
The BAO is a government delegated authority administering provisions of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 (FBCSA) on behalf of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services. Responsible for protection of the public interest, the BAO regulates and supports licensed: funeral establishment operators, directors and preplanners; cemetery, crematorium and alternative disposition operators; transfer service operators; and bereavement sector sales representatives across Ontario.
