Sealed Tenders are invited from Contractors for the construction of Water System Upgrades for the Cold Lake First Nations. Sealed Tenders will be received at the office of the Consulting Engineer up to 2:00 p.m., C.S.T., Friday, July 24th, 2020 and will be opened immediately thereafter.
The work includes:
.1 Construction of a new 250 m2 pumphouse building on an existing concrete water storage reservoir;
.2 Approx. 3 km of treated water supply main, 28 km of distribution mains, and 20 km of service piping;
.3 Clean-up of site;
.6 Repair of defects in workmanship and / or materials for a period of two years after completion of the work.
General Contractors may obtain a digital copy of the Contract Documents from the Office of the Consulting Engineer. Hardcopies are also available for a deposit of $150.00, which will be refunded provided that the documents are returned in good condition within 10 days of closing of Tenders.
Each Tender must be on the forms provided and be accompanied by a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the Tendered Amount.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and will not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
