RFP 17003 - AODA Consultancy Services

Scope:

1. CIHI staff have been provided with education and training material on ‘meeting’ AODA compliance, including developing content and products that are accessible for all users. Scope of work under this RFP would include reviewing this material to assess if the material is appropriate for each role (for example, some staff may only require basic understanding of accessibility principles, AODA, while other staff may require in-depth knowledge of tools, techniques, design strategies, policies, and the like), and provide recommendations (if applicable) for refreshing this plan and/or material, and the best manner to sequence and provide the material to staff.
    
2. Review of CIHI’s existing and updated processes that are used to produce accessible products and content, assess the tools CIHI uses to assess these products for their level of accessibility, to determine if CIHI is assessing products for their compliance with AODA in an acceptable manner.

1. Training and Education Plan. Detailed review and recommendations on CIHI’s training plan and education material (interim draft and final).
2. Assessment. Detailed review and recommendations on CIHI’s processes to produce accessible products and content (interim draft and final).
