Description

The City has issued this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) as part 1 of a two-part procurement process to identify and rank potential providers of General Engineering Services for the City of Lacombe. Based on the review committee’s ranking of proponent’s responses to this RFQ (part 1), a shortlist of the top three Qualified Proponents will be invited to further respond to part 2 – three Requests for Proposal (RFPs) provided at that time. The City will review and rank the RFP response submissions with the goal of inviting one proponent to enter into a 3- year contract (with option for a 3-year extension) for general engineering services as well as to enter into professional services contracts for the work described in the three RFPs. Qualified Proponents must be able to demonstrate in their Statement of Qualification they can provide a full range of municipal engineering services including but not limited to:  general engineering consultation and advisement,  detailed design, tendering, construction management, inspection,  subdivision review and consultation,  general buildings support engineering,  transportation planning, design and consultation,  geotechnical investigation, analysis and recommendations,  policies, procedures and advice regarding regulatory compliance,  stormwater management system analysis and planning,  sanitary sewer collection system analysis and planning,  water distribution system analysis and planning,  geographic information system analysis and support,  cloud based project management tools,  public consultation strategies development and support, and  business case development
