Description

The City has issued this Request for Proposal to procure a qualified proponent to supply solar powered runway lighting for Lacombe Regional Airport’s 914.4m (3000 ft) runway and adjacent apron and taxiways. The lights supplied shall include 28 runway edge lights, 14 taxiway edge lights, 6 apron lights, 12 threshold lights and 1 Aircraft Radio Controlled Aerodrome Lighting (ARCAL) controller. The lighting system shall be ICAO certified and proponents must demonstrate in their proposals compatibility with the existing ARCAL operated beacon and windsock lighting.
