On behalf of the Owner, the City of Quesnel, we invite you to submit a response indicating your
interest in and qualifications for the Quesnel Public Works Facility. Based on these responses,
we intend to select a shortlist of General Contractors to be invited to participate in the next stage of the construction procurement process.
The project is located on Sword Avenue just south of United Concrete and Gravel. There is a
ball diamond to the east of the property that borders with Carson Pit Road. The designers are
currently in the working drawings stage with completion of these drawings expected in June
2019.
It is the Owner’s objective to achieve the highest quality while maintaining best value for money
and the most efficient schedule. In order to achieve these goals, the Owner seeks a highly
qualified General Contractor to join the team.
All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued by the originator of the notice. MERX asks you to contact the buying agency directly for these amendments. MERX stipulates that potential bidders may also be required to register with the buying authority as a bidder/plan taker.
