Corix Group of Companies (Corix) is a leading North American utility organization that delivers safe, cost-effective, and sustainable water, wastewater, district energy, electricity generation and gas distribution solutions to 1,300 small to medium-sized communities across twenty U. S. states and three Canadian provinces. Corix is seeking information from meter manufacturers regarding the technical capabilities of their meters and related mobile drive-by, fixed network advanced meter infrastructure (AMI), and automatic meter reading (AMR) systems to meet the current and future meter readings needs of Corix. The overall goal this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information to assist with the development of solicitation specifications that will meet Corix’s short term and long terms goals for meter reading and meter system management.
Responses to this RFI may be submitted by any water meter manufacturer interested in providing Corix with information on AMI and AMR based systems. Respondents must currently be in the business of providing design, implementation and support of metering infrastructure solutions and must have been doing so for a minimum of at least five (5) consecutive years. The scope of this relationship will include approximately 130,000 water meters across our entire North American organization.
