Purpose of this Expression of Interest
This is not a bid solicitation. This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) related to an Advance Procurement Notice (APN) of potential contracts with anticipated security and Indigenous Benefits requirements. Note there is no guarantee that these contracts will proceed.
Description of the Project
EllisDon Corporation (EllisDon) as the Design Builder has been contracted by Defence Construction Canada to provide design services and constructability oversight to complete the design of the Junior Non-Commissioned Members Training Accommodation Facility at CFB Esquimalt. The infrastructure will support the accommodation for personnel.
The design process is ongoing, and EllisDon will soon begin engagement with interested parties consisting of trade contractors, vendors, and suppliers
Scope of this Project
Project construction is conditional on the project receiving approval to proceed from the Government of Canda.
Description of Work at CFB Esquimalt, British Columbia
Construction of a two (2) building campus consisting of:
- An accommodations tower containing single occupancy bedrooms, storage spaces, and associated auxiliary functions.
- A pavilion building consisting of kitchen and dining facilities, junior non-commissioned member’s mess, flexible breakout training spaces, administrative areas and associated auxiliary functions.
- All new facilities will be designed to achieve a Green Building Certification and be Net Zero Carbon compliant to support climate-resilient operations.
- The project will include demolition of existing NAD34 (Nelle’s Block) building.
