Description

Manitoba Finance, Accommodation Services Division (ASD) is seeking a qualified consultant with the project lead being a Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of five (5) years experience. The consultant’s main objective is to provide drawings and specifications for the plumbing upgrade at the Brandon Correctional Centre located at 375 Vetrans Way in Brandon, Manitoba.

The main requirements will encompass the following:
a) Complete replacement of all sewer lines within the building;

b) Complete replacement of domestic cold water (DCW) lines serving the building. Status of domestic hot water (DHW) lines to be determined based on inspections;

c) Replacement of any non-institutional grade plumbing fixtures in cells or prisoner areas in order to go from back discharge to botton discharge; and

d) Design for the installation of flush management system for cells.

The Optional Site Examination shall be held at the following date and time:
Date: November 1, 2019
Time: 11:00AM
Location: Meet at front lobby and sign-in required. Pre-Clearance required and takes 1 week to process.
