Description

The Canadian Council for Practical Nurse Regulators (CCPNR) is seeking consulting expertise to update the Code of Ethics (CoE) for practical nurses. Specific objectives :

research current and anticipated changes in health care impacting the regulation of LPNs in Canada including the recommendations of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission report, cultural safety issues and Medical Assistance in Dying legislation among other trends to consider in updating the 2013 CoE;
determine revisions and/or additions to the 2013 CoE;
validate updated CoE in English and French;
finalize CoE in English and French; and
prepare the final project report outlining the approach and results.
